How to get there
The XIII Portuguese Congress of Sociology will be held at the University of the Azores in Ponta Delgada.
If you are coming from mainland Portugal, you should take a flight from Lisbon or Porto to Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island, in the Azores. João Paulo II International Airport is located about 3 km from the center of Ponta Delgada and has cab and Aerobus services.
In Ponta Delgada, to get to the University of the Azores you can take the following transport or choose to walk (about 1 km from the center of Ponta Delgada):
- Taxi ( Taxis PDL, 296 382 000)
- Mini Bus (you can download the PDL minibus app or consult the Ponta Delgada Town Hall and choose the green line)
