BIO

Graça Rojão has a degree and PhD in Sociology from the University of Beira Interior (UBI). Her research interests revolve around issues linked to feminism, care, degrowth and solidarity economy. He has a postgraduate degree in Project Management in Partnership from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra; specialization in Gender Equality, by the Citizenship and Gender Equality Commission; Training of trainers in Promoting autobiographical competence to help gender violence survivors by Libera Universitá dell'Autobiografia di Anghiari; and training in Ecofeminism: Thought, Culture and Praxis from the University of Valladolid and has a TAV certification - Victim Support Technique. She is a certified trainer by the Scientific-Pedagogical Council for Continuing Teacher Training with number CCPFC/RFO-26949/10. She is the co-founder and general coordinator of CooLabora - Intervenção Social, where she focuses especially on the following areas: preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence; solidarity network of local producers; and education initiatives for global citizenship in school contexts. He regularly collaborates with the local press, namely with the newspaper Notícias da Covilhã. She is a social judge in the municipality of Covilhã; member of the Municipal Security Council; member of EIVL - municipal team for equality in local life and member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at UBI. She is co-coordinator of the Civil Society, Alternative Economies and Volunteering section of the Portuguese Sociology Association. Participates in some national networks such as the Network for Decrement, Synergies for Social Transformation and Animar - Portuguese Association for Local Development.
